About this blog
History began when writing was created. For millennia, this way of expression has allowed to bring many stories to life. The subject is so vast that it can be only presumed infinite. And behind each text created, there is a writer. For some, writing is a hobby, for others it’s a job. But whatever their motivations are, they can face adversity when engaging in this activity. Most of the time, it is not a problem of creativity but rather, of execution. You may have heard words like “foreshadowing”, “lore”, or “paragraph”—concepts that need to be mastered in order to craft a proper story, but then, questions arise :
“What do those terms really mean ? How can I use them ?”
As an amateur writer and aspiring author, I struggle with those conundrums on a daily basis. However, through perseverance, I manage to find clarity and push forward (Though it is still difficult). Ultimately, I believe that understanding literature makes you a better writer. A simple and flexible approach, that is the foundation of this blog.
Writing Stuff is a website designed to help any writers having those same doubts. I created this blog to share my opinions and experiences regarding this art. Those thoughts will be transformed into lessons and advice. You can expect short yet “to the point” articles. Not only that, Writing Stuff has the objective to be self-improving. Overtime, previous works will receive updates and tweaks. Whether it is corrections or linking two posts for better context.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to see you in the near future !
